The role of the Offloading Supervising Chemist is to directly oversee operations in the GWMC Treatment Plant and, in particular, tanker offloading, whilst maintaining the highest level of compliance to the company''s health and safety, environmental, procedural and statutory goals. The Shift Offloading Chemist is responsible for offloading activities, working with a small team of plant operators as part of the operational team reporting to the Shift Manager. To ensure efficient and optimum performance of both plant and personnel in order to provide the highest level of customer service. Duties/Responsibilities: To supervise the offloading of all tankers as directed by the Shift manager To assist the Shift Manager in the processing of containerised waste To direct traffic in the Treatment Plant, supervise the drivers and provide cover in the weighbridge To continually strive towards the highest health and safety goals.
