This role is fully office based, and the Office Manager / People Administrator is responsible for organising, coordinating, and undertaking all day-to-day operations of the office in Glasgow to ensure everything runs smoothly. You would also support the People team with a range of administrative duties.The Role
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Glasgow officeHandle incoming calls to the Glasgow officeCoordinate facilities and liaise with suppliersPlan and schedule meetings and appointments, including room bookingsPrepare correspondence, reports, financial data and presentationsArrange travel, accommodation and guest visits, and organise the annual Christmas partyCoordinate office activities and ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety regulationsManage internal systems and processesOversee company credit card transactions, perform reconciliations and secure approvalsProcess financial transactions such as employee expenses and supplier invoicesLiaise with stakeholders to arrange onboarding and induction plans for new joinersManage background screening and compliance for all new employeesPrepare and issue routine and ad hoc letters, offers and contracts to employeesProvide ad hoc support to the People Director and People AdvisorWhat we are looking for
Previous experience in a similar office-based roleProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPointExceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detailExcellent time-management abilities and consistent punctualityStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levelsFlexible, adaptable approach to shifting business needs and prioritiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDiscretion and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentiallyIt would be great if you have…
