Office Manager/PA
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly organised Office Manager / PA to join a busy operational environment in Runcorn.
This varied role combines high-level administrative support, PA responsibilities, and day-to-day office coordination. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and operational teams, ensuring the office runs efficiently and providing proactive support across a range of business activities.
Previous experience within construction, property, engineering or a similar operational environment would be advantageous, although candidates with strong transferable experience will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities- Providing high-level administrative and PA support to Directors and senior operational teams.
- Managing diaries, appointments, meetings and travel arrangements.
- Coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes and following up actions.
- Managing day-to-day office administration and ensuring the office operates efficiently.
- Liaising with suppliers, contractors and external contacts as required.
- Ordering office supplies and coordinating general office requirements.
- Preparing correspondence, reports, documents and presentations.
- Maintaining accurate records, files and internal documentation.
- Supporting internal communications and operational administration.
- Assisting with basic HR administration, including onboarding and employee documentation.
- Providing general administrative support across the wider business as required.
- Handling confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
We are looking for an experienced Office Manager, PA, Executive Assistant, Office Coordinator or Senior Administrator who is confident working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in an office management, PA or senior administrative position.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional, approachable and proactive manner.
- The confidence to work independently and support senior stakeholders.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- The ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Previous construction, property, engineering or similar industry experience would be advantageous.
