Shifts: Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm Friday 8.30am - 1.30pm
Location: Prestonpans
I''m currently recruiting for an Office Manager for my client based in Prestonpans. You will be supporting the business across all departments, providing day-to-day administrative support as well as guidance, co-ordination, and direction where needed. The successful candidate will also work closely with the HR team and contribute to broader HR initiatives where relevant.
Daily Duties:
- Manage filing systems and document control
- Oversee office-based Health & Safety checks and actions
- Liaise with suppliers regarding invoices or payments
- Submit payroll data for new starters
- Track and report annual leave to HR each quarter
- Promote employee benefits and internal communications
- Act as a point of contact for general HR queries and meeting support
- Maintain visitor inductions and safety briefings
- Ensure fire safety equipment is up to date
- Work with suppliers to maintain a safe working environment
Ideal Candidate:
- MS-office and proficient in Excel and PowerPoint and be able to draft reports
- Strong attention to detail
- A degree or equivalent professional qualification in business
- CIPD qualification desirable
- Experience of working in manufacturing organisation would be advantageous
- People management experience
- Experience of using SAP advantageous
