Wolviston Management Services are proud to be supporting a leading engineering company in their search for an experienced Office Administration Manager to oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of their busy office environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and proactive individual with strong leadership skills, keen attention to detail, and a background in supporting engineering, manufacturing or technical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a small team of administrators to ensure smooth office function and high levels of accuracy across all administrative processes.
- Oversee general office operations including reception, document control, stationery supplies, facilities coordination, and compliance documentation.
- Develop and implement efficient administrative systems, processes, and best practices to support internal departments and site teams.
- Act as the main point of contact for internal and external administrative queries, ensuring timely and professional communication.
- Provide high-level support to senior management including diary management, reporting, and coordination of internal meetings.
- Support HR and Finance teams with documentation, onboarding, purchase orders, timesheets, and invoice tracking.
- Maintain records in line with quality, health & safety, and regulatory requirements (ISO standards preferred).
- Drive continuous improvement and foster a positive, collaborative office environment.
- Proven experience in a similar Office Manager or Administration Management role - ideally within engineering, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and IT skills (MS Office, document management systems, ERP software).
- A practical, hands-on approach and ability to multitask under pressure.
- Understanding of compliance and quality procedures within a technical/regulated environment is desirable.
