Office AssistantGotpeople are working with an extremely busy family run business and are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Office Assistant to support their Horticultural day-to-day operations.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied workload, is keen to learn, and would like to develop their skills within a growing horticultural business. Full training will be provided.Key Responsibilities Answering incoming telephone calls and directing enquiriesSupporting the sales team with daily administrative tasksAccurately entering supplier invoices into XeroGeneral office administration dutiesResponding to customer queries by phone and emailBooking in deliveriesMatching supplier invoices with delivery notesAssisting outdoors on the site during peak periods when required Hours of WorkSeasonal hours apply due to the demands of the industry: Spring and Summer: 7:30am 5:00pmAutumn and Winter: 8:00am 4:00pmEarlier finishes on Fridays when workload allowsSome weekend work may be required during busy months, therefore flexibility is essential Location Based in Bovingdon, HertfordshireDue to location, own transport is required - NOT ACCESSIBLE BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT The Ideal Candidate Will Have a good telephone manner and strong communication skillsBe willing to learn and take instructionBe computer literate, with experience using Office 365, including ExcelHave good timekeeping and organisational skillsBe able to work independently and as part of a teamBe flexible and willing to ..... full job details .....
