About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised, proactive, and reliable Office Administrator to join a busy and growing business. This varied role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting a team, managing office processes, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of an office.

The successful candidate will provide administrative, organisational, and operational support across the business while maintaining a professional and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities

General Administration

  • Manage the daily administrative functions of the office.
  • Answer and direct telephone calls and emails professionally.
  • Maintain both electronic and paper filing systems.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, documents, and spreadsheets.
  • Provide administrative support to senior managers as required.

Operational Support

  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and external service providers.
  • Raise and process purchase orders.
  • Maintain records relating to equipment, assets, and hired resources.
  • Assist with health and safety administration, ensuring records are kept up to date.

Essential Skills & Experience

Applicants should be able to demonstrate:

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • The ability to work independently while handling confidential information.
