Our client is a leading specialist engineering contractor operating within the swimming pool and water leisure sector, delivering installation, refurbishment, maintenance, and engineering services to commercial and private clients across the UK.
Due to continued growth and a strong order book, they are now seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join their team at their Widnes office.

The Role
Reporting to the management team, the successful candidate will provide administrative support across multiple areas of the business, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the office and supporting engineering and project teams.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing incoming telephone calls, emails, and customer enquiries
- Coordinating engineer schedules and service appointments
- Processing quotations, purchase orders, and invoices
- Maintaining accurate customer and project records
- Updating internal databases and management systems
- Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and customers
- Preparing project documentation and supporting contract administration
- Assisting with general office management and administrative duties
- Providing ad-hoc support to senior management as required
Candidate Requirements
We are keen to speak with candidates who possess:
- Previous experience in an Office Administrator, Administrator, Office Coordinator, or similar role
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A professional telephone manner and customer-focused approach
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Previous experience within engineering, construction, facilities management, or a technical services environment would be advantageous, although not essential.
