We are looking for an Import Specialist to join our team in Trafford Park.Unlike "cog-in-the-machine" roles, you will have full autonomy over your shipments. We need someone who can handle the technicalities of Ocean Imports with precision and pace.What You''ll Be DoingA-Z Shipment Management: Handling Ocean Import deep-sea movements from point of origin to UK delivery.Customs and Compliance: Managing entries, checking documentation (Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices), and ensuring HMRC compliance.Client Management: Acting as the dedicated point of contact for your accounts-providing quotes, updates, and solutions.Financial Control: Managing file billing, cost accruals, and ensuring healthy margins.What You NeedExperience: At least 1-2 years of current/recent experience in an Ocean Freight Forwarding environment.Knowledge: You must understand Incoterms, customs procedures, and the end-to-end import lifecycle.Drive: A "start-to-finish" mindset.
