Ocean Freight ImportsLocation: BradfordSalary: 35 000, depending on experienceHours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pmContract: Full-time, permanentWe are recruiting an Experienced Freight Professional to join a busy freight forwarding operation in Bradford. The successful candidate will work primarily within the FCL Import Department, coordinating import shipments and delivering excellent customer service.Key responsibilitiesArranging import consignments from booking through to deliveryPlanning and booking deliveriesMonitoring shipments and providing customers with updatesCompleting shipping documentationEntering and maintaining accurate shipment dataRaising customer invoices and processing purchase invoicesLiaising with customers, shipping lines, hauliers and other service providersCompleting general administrative dutiesMaintaining accurate and well-organised filesAbout youAt least one to two years'' experience within shipping, freight forwarding or a similar environmentPrevious import shipment experience, ideally involving FCL importsKnowledge of customs procedures and customs software would be advantageousA strong commitment to excellent customer serviceClear and confident communication skillsA proactive, organised and dependable approachThe ability to prioritise tasks effectivelyStrong file-management skills and attention to detailThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamA positive attitude and collaborative approachWhat''s on offerA salary of 35,000 to ..... full job details .....
