Ocean freight Specialist

We are looking for an Ocean Freight Specialist in the Purfleet Thurrock areaKey Responsibilities Manage end-to-end ocean freight import and export shipments. Coordinate Full Container Load (FCL) movements. Manage cross-trade shipments Prepare and manage shipping and customs documentation. Ensure shipments are processed accurately and within required deadlines. Handle customs entries and ensure compliance with relevant customs requirements. Skills and Experience Previous experience within ocean freight / sea freight forwarding. knowledge of import and export procedures. Proven experience with FCL shipments. Experience managing cross-trade freight. Good understanding of customs procedures and documentation. Experience using freight forwarding and customs systems, ideally one of the following: Destin8 CargoWise e-Customs NES Strong organisational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. ..... full job details .....
