Ensure Freight is moved to customer specifications, on time with all the necessary customs and legal documentation and a record is kept of all daily events and interactive reports. Arrange haulage with shipping line/hauliers. All freight is invoiced and checked prior to dispatch. Ensure pre-alert documents are on hand as required. Accurately prepare and maintain ocean freight rate quotations, ensuring compliance with carrier contracts and global tariff regulations. Coordinate with carriers, agents, and internal teams to secure optimal shipping schedules and rates. Monitor and track shipments, proactively resolving delays or discrepancies before they impact the customer. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international trade regulations, customs requirements, and market rate trends. Support the sales team with timely and competitive rate proposals for tenders and spot quotes. Ensure all documentation—bills of lading, invoices, customs forms—is accurate and compliant.
