Our client, a well-established and growing logistics provider, is seeking an experienced Multi-Modal Freight Operations Clerk with a strong background in ocean freight. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to join a fast-paced operations team.Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end ocean freight shipments, including import and export operationsCoordinate multi-modal transport movements (sea, road, and air where required)Complete full and accurate customs entries in line with current regulationsLiaise with shipping lines, hauliers, customs authorities, and internal teamsProvide exceptional customer service, acting as a key point of contact for clientsMonitor shipment progress and proactively resolve any issues or delaysPrepare and process invoicing and billing, ensuring accuracy and timelinessMaintain compliance with all relevant industry and customs regulationsKey RequirementsProven experience in a freight forwarding Strong ocean freight knowledge (essential)Experience completing full customs entries independentlyFamiliarity with multi-modal transport operationsExcellent customer service and communication skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to work under pressureExperience with billing and invoicing processesProficiency in relevant freight and customs software systemsHours Monday - Friday 7.00am - 16.00pm / Monday - Friday 8.00am - 17.00pm ..... full job details .....
