This is a senior opportunity to develop import and export volumes, win new business and deliver tailored supply chain solutions within an established and growing logistics group in Northern Ireland.Location: County Antrim - Based onsite this role is commutable from Ballymena, Antrim, Newtownabbey, Ballyclare, Ballynure, Crumlin, Carrickfergus, Lame, Lisburn, Belfast and surrounding areas. A competitive salary is on offer alongside great benefits which include: 33 days annual leave (28 plus BH) , Health Cash Plan, EAP, ongoing development opportunities , company events, wellbeing initiatives and free on-site parking!What will you be doing as the new Ocean Freight Manager?Leading and developing ocean freight import and export operations across global trade lanes, delivering high levels of customer service and operational performance.Driving container volume, revenue and profitability growth in line with company objectives, identifying new markets and commercial opportunities.Developing existing customer relationships while identifying and securing new business opportunities within target sectors.Negotiating competitive rates and service agreements with shipping lines, carriers and overseas partners.Working closely with the Customs and Compliance team to ensure efficient clearance and compliance with international trade requirements.Leading, mentoring and developing the ocean ..... full job details .....
