You will manage ocean export shipments from start to finish, working closely with customers, shipping lines, overseas agents and internal departments.The role:Managing ocean export shipments from booking through to final deliveryHandling both FCL and LCL movementsPreparing and checking export documentationCompleting shipping instructions and bills of ladingLiaising with customers, shipping lines, hauliers and overseas agentsArranging collections and monitoring shipmentsProviding customers with regular shipment updatesProducing quotations and checking supplier costsCompleting invoicing and ensuring files are accurate and profitableResolving operational issues quickly and professionallyMaintaining accurate records within the company''s freight management systemWhat we are looking for:Previous ocean freight export experience is essentialA good understanding of end-to-end export proceduresExperience handling FCL and LCL shipmentsStrong customer service and communication skillsGood attention to detail and organisationConfidence managing multiple shipments and ..... full job details .....
