Multi Modal / Ocean and Air Coordinator Location: Glasgow, ScotlandWe are working with a global multimodal freight forwarding company, based in Glasgow. On behalf of our client, we are currently looking for an Ocean and Air Coordinator / Freight Forwarding Coordinator to join their Glasgow office.This role would suit an experienced Ocean and Air Coordinator or Freight Forwarding Coordinator with hands-on exposure to air freight and ocean freight operations, looking to join a stable and reputable freight forward with a strong UK and international presence.Role Overview:The Ocean and Air Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating air freight and ocean freight import and export shipments from booking through to delivery. Working within a freight forwarding environment, you will liaise with carriers, overseas agents, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and compliant shipment movements.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinateair freight and ocean freight import and export shipmentsPrepare, check, and process Freight Forwarding documentationEnsure compliance with customs, regulatory, and operational requirementsExperience and SkillsPrevious experience as an Ocean and Air Coordinator, Freight Forwarder, or Freight Forwarding CoordinatorKnowledge of import/export documentation and customs proceduresStrong organisational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environmentClear written and verbal communication skillsConfident using MS Office (Outlook, Word, ..... full job details .....
