Job Specification - Band 7 Occupational Therapist (Social Services / Children''s Targeted Team) Role Title: Occupational Therapist - Advanced / Band 7 Location: London (Community / Social Services Setting Hours: Mon-Fri, 9:00-17:00, 37.5 hours per week Contract Type: Temporary / Fixed Term Pay: 27- 31 per hour (Umbrella equivalent) Reference: Internal Ref - optional Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a children''s social services team. The OT will assess home environments, recommend adaptations and equipment, and support independence for children and families. Key Responsibilities: Undertake assessments of referrals and evaluate needs related to access, safety, and independence in the home. Support junior staff within the team. Complete reports and attend panels as required. Apply knowledge of the Care Act and Disabled Facilities Grants process. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
