Band 6 Occupational Therapist - CommunityCompetitive Hourly Rate West CornwallOverviewI''m currently recruiting for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join my client''s Community Team covering West Cornwall, including Camborne, Redruth, Hayle, Helston and Penzance.This is a community-based role supporting adults with physical health needs, carrying out assessments and helping people remain as independent as possible in their own homes. You''ll manage your own caseload, working across a varied geographical area alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team.The contract is for 12 weeks, starting 31st August, with part-time hours available (to be agreed).Please note, you''ll need to be comfortable travelling to visit service users in more remote areas across West Cornwall, including the Lizard Peninsula.RequirementsHCPC registered Occupational TherapistBachelor''s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy recognised by the relevant professional bodiesMinimum 2-3 years'' experience working as a Band 6 Occupational TherapistExperience within Physical Health and/or Adult Social CareFull UK driving licence and access to a vehicleClear DBS (we can put this in process for you)What''s on offerCompetitive hourly rate12-week contractPart-time hours availableVaried community caseloadSupportive multidisciplinary teamInterested?If you''d like to find out more, drop me a message to arrange a quick chat.
