Undertake Occupational Therapy assessments, including identifying patients'' strengths, needs, capacities and limitations. Develop and deliver individualised Occupational Therapy treatment and intervention plans. Provide OT input across inpatient and relevant community settings, working with patients, carers and the MDT. Work with patients with mental health needs and challenging behaviours, adapting interventions to individual circumstances. Provide supervision, professional guidance and support to junior Occupational Therapists and support staff. Contribute to service development, clinical governance, audit, research and quality improvement. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and professional reports in line with Trust and HCPC standards. Contribute to training, student placements and wider Therapy service development. Maintain professional competence through CPD and appraisal.
