Occupational Therapist Location: London/Greenwich Salary: Competitive, dependent on qualifications and experience Contract: Full Time We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join a specialist education setting supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference by helping pupils develop the skills they need to achieve greater independence, participation, and wellbeing. Day-to-Day of the Role: Assess pupils'' functional, sensory, physical, and developmental needs. Develop and implement individualised occupational therapy programmes and interventions. Support pupils in developing independence, self-care, sensory regulation, motor skills, and access to learning. Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, parents, and external professionals to achieve positive outcomes. Provide guidance and training to staff on therapeutic strategies and classroom adaptations. Monitor pupil progress and maintain accurate clinical records and reports. Contribute to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and annual reviews where required. Recommend and support the use of specialist equipment, resources, and environmental adaptations. Promote a holistic and pupil-centred approach to therapy and wellbeing. Required Skills and Qualifications: Degree in Occupational Therapy.
