This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week within the Ayrshire area. Location: Ayrshire - Ayr, Prestwick and MauchlinePriory Ayr Clinic, alongside its step-down services at Gatehouse and Lochlea, provides specialist low secure mental health care for males and females with a range of complex mental health needs, including mental health diagnoses and/or personality disorders. We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team and contribute to the assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and recovery of the individuals within our care. You will work as part of an established Occupational Therapy service alongside other Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants, while also working closely with colleagues across psychiatry, nursing, psychology and the wider multidisciplinary team. The role offers the opportunity to work with a varied caseload, delivering meaningful, occupation-focused assessment and intervention within both individual and group settings. You will support service users to develop skills, independence and engagement in meaningful occupations as part of their recovery and rehabilitation journey.
