Meadows Recruitment are looking for 2x experienced, Senior Occupational Therapists to work in Gloucestershire:2x Occupational Therapists Children and Young People''s Service 1x OT supporting CYPS Occupational Therapy Community Referrals (community based with some remote working also)and 1x OT for the clinic referrals6 MONTHSFull time Role 1: To be competent in completing an environmental assessment to support a housing report and/or minor adaptation, to be skilled in reviewing equipment for children with a range of physical disabilities and complexity of need, to have knowledge and experience of applying recommendations from postural management assessment findings to support appropriate provision of equipment, to have skills and experience in being able to assess and review moving and handling need to inform appropriate equipment provision and care plan.Role 2: Supporting CYPS Occupational Therapy Clinic Referrals (clinic based with some remote working also): To be skilled in completing clinic based or remote assessments for children with a learning disability or coordination difficulties, to be competent in using non-standardised clinical observational skills to assess functional difficulties in activities of daily living, to be competent in identifying and using standardised assessment tools where appropriate, to be skilled and competent in providing clear advice and recommendations that can be utilised at home and/or in school.If you are interested, please reply to this ..... full job details .....
