Occupational Therapist - SEN / SEMH Setting - East London - Stratford Full Time Permanent Role 37.5 Hours per Week 44,101 - 49,447 per annum Long Term Futures are recruiting a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join a specialist education setting in East London, supporting children and young people with complex needs, SEMH and neurodiverse profiles. This is a rewarding opportunity to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, delivering targeted therapeutic interventions that support pupils in accessing education, developing independence and improving emotional and sensory regulation. Key Responsibilities:Deliver specialist Occupational Therapy assessments and interventionSupport pupils with sensory, physical and functional needsContribute to and implement EHCP targets and therapeutic plansDevelop sensory programmes and communication passportsWork closely with teaching staff to adapt the learning environmentProvide training and guidance to school staff on therapeutic strategiesWork collaboratively with families and external professionalsMonitor and evaluate progress using evidence-based approaches Ideal Candidate Will Have:Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registrationExperience working with children or young people with SEMH, ASD or complex needsStrong understanding of sensory integration and therapeutic approachesAbility to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary teamExcellent communication and report-writing skillsA proactive, ..... full job details .....
