Occupational Therapist Grade 10

Occupational Therapist Location: Ceredigion, Wales Pay Rate: 42.63 per hour (Umbrella) Hours: 37 hours per week Contract: Temporary We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Community Occupational Therapy Team in Ceredigion. You will provide high-quality, person-centred occupational therapy to adults and older people, helping to maximise independence, safety and quality of life. Key Responsibilities Manage a varied and complex caseload independently. Undertake functional, manual handling and risk assessments. Assess and recommend specialist equipment and housing adaptations. Develop person-centred intervention and care plans. Provide advice and support to individuals, families and carers. Work collaboratively with health, social care and other partner agencies. Supervise and delegate to Occupational Therapy Assistants, students and volunteers. Maintain accurate records and prepare professional reports. Support safeguarding and manage risks appropriately during community visits. Participate in duty rotas, supervision, training and ongoing professional development. Requirements HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist. Experience in community occupational therapy, particularly with adults and older people. Knowledge of specialist equipment, housing adaptations and manual handling. Ability to manage a complex caseload and work autonomously. Excellent communication and multi-agency working skills.
