This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or recently qualified Occupational Therapist seeking to develop their skills while making a meaningful difference to the lives of children and young people with additional needs. The Role:Working within a specialist school environment, you will support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them to access learning, develop independence and achieve their individual goals.You will work collaboratively alongside teachers, SENCOs, Teaching Assistants and external professionals to deliver therapeutic interventions that enable pupils to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.The school supports pupils with a variety of needs, including:Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD and SLD)Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)Sensory processing differencesPhysical and complex learning needsKey Responsibilities:Conducting welfare visist mileage paid 0.45 per mileAssess pupils'' functional, sensory and motor needs.Develop and implement individualised ..... full job details .....
