Occupational Therapist (Band 5/6) Specialist Education Setting South West London Full-Time Term-Time Only Permanent Immediate or September Start The Opportunity A specialist education provider is seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join its established multidisciplinary therapy team. This is an excellent opportunity for either a newly qualified therapist looking to develop their SEN experience or a more experienced Occupational Therapist seeking a supportive environment with strong clinical supervision, ongoing CPD and opportunities to work alongside education professionals as part of an integrated therapeutic model. The successful candidate will support children and young people with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning, develop independence and achieve positive outcomes both within school and beyond. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of children and young people with a range of SEND needs Complete assessments and develop individualised intervention plans Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy interventions Contribute to EHCP reviews, reports and multidisciplinary planning meetings Work collaboratively with teaching staff, families and external professionals Support the development of sensory, functional and independence programmes Provide advice, training and guidance to school staff Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in line with professional standards Contribute to a whole-school ..... full job details .....
