About UsCygnet Health Care was established in 1988 as an independent provider of health and social care services in England, Scotland and Wales.Service Line: Mental Health Adults (Female Acute services)Salary: £34,527 per yearContract Duration: Fixed term from now until Dec 2027Summary of the siteCygnet Woking/ Woking Lodge is a 94 bedded hospital with a variety of different wards, including two locked rehab wards (male), two low secure services (male and female), three acute wards (male and two female), and a PICU (female). We have a designated qualified OT on each ward, with OTAs supporting across the service, as Activity Coordinators supporting the activities around the hospital. Our environment has a holistic focus and includes a gym, ADL kitchen, Recovery College, Hair Salon, library, Tuck-shop and other therapeutic spaces.Within this role, you will provide assessment and treatment of occupational needs on the female acute ward (Kahlo) under the supervision of a senior Occupational Therapist. You may hold supervisory responsibility for others, and will be expected to take a leadership role in specific projects.
