Occupational Therapy Assistant£30.81 per hour London Borough of HackneyHackney Council is strengthening its Occupational Therapy and Reablement services to tackle a significant backlog and improve access to timely, person-centred support. We are expanding our frontline workforce to increase capacity, reduce delays, and help residents receive the essential equipment, adaptations and support they need.We are seeking a committed Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our Adult Social Care service and play a key role in delivering high-quality, strengths-based interventions.About the RoleAs an OTA, you will work under the supervision of qualified Occupational Therapists to:Carry out strengths-based OT assessmentsComplete reviews for residents receiving OT equipment or domiciliary careSupport the assessment and provision of specialist equipment and environmental adaptationsDeliver functional retraining, advice and interventions that promote safety and independenceIdentify risks and contribute to safeguarding processesAccurately record case notes and maintain high-quality documentationWork collaboratively with service users, carers and a wide range of professionalsYou will also support Hackney''s growing Reablement Service, including:Reablement at Home - supporting residents discharged home with reablement potentialReablement Assessment Flats - providing short-term assessment accommodation at Rose Court and Leander CourtThis role is central to Hackney''s ambition to move ..... full job details .....
