Occupational Health Nurse

A leading manufacturer of industrial equipment has a new vacancy for an Occupational Health Nurse to join its UK site. Applicants are sought who have experience working in an industrial sector (distribution, manufacturing, engineering, construction) and can demonstrate a proven track record of running health assessments, medical screening and promoting wellness and preventative health measures. The Role Health Assessments and Medical Screening: Conducting pre-employment and routine medical screenings. Injury and Illness Management: Managing work-related injuries and illnesses, providing advice, and coordinating return-to-work programs. Health Education and Promotion: Promoting wellness and preventative health measures, providing training on ergonomics, hazard prevention, and lifestyle changes. Compliance and Reporting: Ensuring the workplace complies with health and safety regulations and legislation, preparing reports, and maintaining accurate health records. Risk Assessments: Identifying workplace health risks and helping to mitigate them through preventive measures. Vaccination and Immunization Programs: Managing immunization programs, especially for employees in hazardous or exposed roles. The Person Registered Nurse. Specialised in Occupational Health Training. Prior experience working in an industrial environment is preferred.
