We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Occupational Health Nurse / Advisor / Practitioner who is a registered nurse with experience in a manufacturing environment. You will play an integral part of the company to support employee well-being and management of sickness absence. You will report into the Head of HR and will support and advise employees on health-related issues. This opportunity would suit an individual who is a registered nurse and has experience within a manufacturing environment that is looking to gain further knowledge within the industry and play a pivotal role in shaping occupational health and wellbeing in the workplace.Duties
Deliver and coordinate health surveillance programs in accordance with health and safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., COSHH, Noise, HAVS, etc.)Completing fitness to work cases and capability assessmentsOffer wellbeing support where neededFacilitate return to work assessments and phased returnsPhysical and mental health assessmentsConduct Workplace assessments as and where requiredDrug and Alcohol testing where requiredMaintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulationsMonitor employee health trends and recommend interventions as necessaryHelp to continuously improve service delivery and operationsCandidate Requirements
A registered NurseDiploma in Occupational Health Practice is preferredPrevious experience of clinical nursing experience, with some experience in occupational health or a related fieldExperience within a manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of occupational health surveillance programs and relevant regulationsAble to analyse and interpret clinical data to inform decision-makingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organisational skills with attention to detail and confidentialityBenefits
