BMC Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for an Occupational Health Coordinator to join a client who operates within the rail industry, based in Birmingham. About the Role Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 depending on experience Hybrid working model (4 Days Office / 1 Day Working from Home) 30 days annual leave pro rata (including bank holidays), increasing by 1 day each year up to a maximum of 35 days Pension contributions: Employee 7.80%, Employer 11.70% Employee Assistance Programme Cycle to work scheme Free rail travel for you and your family (rules and conditions apply) Discounted rail travel on all other Train Operating Companies (TOCs) Enjoy discounts with major retailers through the client''s employee benefits portal, The Village Duties/Responsibilities Monitor the medical inbox, responding to queries efficiently. Support HR Business Partners with Absence Management referrals Co-ordinate the delivery of clinics and appointments, managing bookings and queries. Liaise with the resources team and local depots to ensure operational efficiency. Manage all medical bookings, including new entrant, periodic, and Drugs and Alcohol screening. Handle Physiotherapy referrals and record periodic results on the ACMS system. Compile reports for the Office of Rail and Road (ORR) on a periodic basis. Manage relationships with the Occupational Health provider, escalating queries and complaints Act as the first point of contact for all Occupational Health enquiries.
