Clinical Governance and Lead Nurse – Occupational Health
Location: West Yorkshire
 

We are recruiting for a Clinical Governance and Lead Nurse – Occupational Health to join an established Occupational Health service on a full time permanent basis.

This is a senior clinical leadership role with responsibility for the delivery, governance and development of the Occupational Health nursing service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Occupational Health nursing service.
• Provide clinical leadership and line management to a team.
• Oversee health surveillance, screening and health monitoring programmes.
• Maintain clinical protocols, audit, governance and compliance processes, including SEQOHS.
• Undertake a proportionate caseload of management referrals and nurse-led clinics.
• Provide specialist Occupational Health advice to managers, senior leaders and HR/People teams.
• Support initiatives around health, wellbeing, attendance and workplace health.
• Monitor service demand, performance and outcomes.
• Support the development of clinical practice and the nursing team.

About You

• Registered General Nurse qualification.
• Recognised Occupational Health Nursing qualification.
• Extensive Occupational Health experience.
• Proven experience leading and developing a clinical team.
• Strong knowledge of health surveillance, screening and statutory compliance.
• Experience with management referrals and nurse-led clinics.
• Good IT and reporting skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Occupational Health Lead looking to take on a senior leadership role with significant responsibility for clinical governance and service development.

Salary - Circa £55,000 - £64000 per annum.
