The role:Our client is a leading FMCG manufacturer with a global reputation for producing high quality products and household brands. We are currently looking for an experienced and proactive Occupational Health Advisor (OHA) to complement their Occupational Health Team within their manufacturing site based in Wigan. As the Occupational Health Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting to reduce/prevent work-related illness and injury, by providing expert advice and recommendations. In line with this, your key duties will include: Duties and responsibilities:Provide expert advice and practical recommendations to line managers and HR regarding employee health concerns.Conduct fitness for work health assessments for new employees.Participate in regular meetings with HR and Operational Managers, reporting on Occupational Health activities and updates on employee health, including absence cases.Support the Occupational Health Manager in supervising, reviewing, and developing Occupational Health policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current legislation and Health and Safety Executive (HSE) best practices and clinical standards.Assist the Occupational Health Manager and act as a deputy when necessary.Help implement and manage the health surveillance program ..... full job details .....
