An Occupational Disease Solicitor (Newly Qualified) is sought by a leading international law firm in Birmingham to join their nationally recognised Casualty team. This full-time role involves advising major insurer clients on a broad range of occupational disease claims, with a particular focus on Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) and asbestos-related matters. You will support senior lawyers on complex, high-value litigation while managing your own caseload. Joining a nationally recognised Casualty team, you'll work alongside experts in the field advising major insurer clients on a broad range of occupational disease claims. The work is varied and technically challenging, with a particular focus on Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) and asbestos-related claims. You'll support senior lawyers on complex, high-value litigation while also taking responsibility for your own files, giving you plenty of scope to develop your technical expertise and build your confidence.
Applications are welcomed from experienced Senior Paralegals and Newly Qualified Solicitors with a background in defendant personal injury or occupational disease litigation. You'll already have experience dealing with Employer's Liability and Public Liability claims, be confident reviewing medical and expert evidence and enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where client service is paramount.
