Nurture Teacher Location: Uxbridge, West LondonStart Date: ASAPContract: Full-time, Long-termPay: £180 £270 per day, depending on experienceAre you a compassionate and resilient Nurture Teacher with experience supporting young people with SEMH, behavioural needs and additional learning needs?Do you have the ability to build positive relationships with pupils who may have struggled within mainstream education?Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can provide both academic and pastoral support, helping pupils rebuild confidence and re-engage with learning?TeacherActive is working with a specialist education setting in Uxbridge that is looking for an enthusiastic Nurture Teacher to join their team.The Role As a Nurture Teacher, you will: Deliver engaging and accessible lessons to pupils with a range of SEMH and additional needs Create a calm, structured and nurturing classroom environment Support pupils who may display challenging behaviour or experience barriers to learning Adapt teaching to meet individual academic, emotional and social needs Develop strong, positive relationships with pupils to improve engagement and attendance Use effective behaviour management and de-escalation strategies Work closely with Teaching Assistants, pastoral staff, SENCOs and other professionals Support pupils'' confidence, resilience, independence and emotional regulation Monitor progress and contribute to individual support and education plans The Ideal Nurture Teacher We are looking ..... full job details .....
