Prospero Teaching is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive specialist provision in West Drayton that is seeking a dedicated Nurture Teacher to join their team.
The position is open to both qualified teachers and experienced educators from specialist settings. Candidates with extensive SEN, SEMH, or nurture provision experience who do not hold QTS are encouraged to apply. Depending on performance, the school may look to offer a permanent position.
CONTRACT DETAILS
- Location - West Drayton (UB7)
- Position - Nurture Teacher
- Type of work - Teaching pupils with SEMH, ASC and additional needs within a nurture-based setting

- Full time/part time - Full Time
- Minimum rate of pay - Negotiable based on experience and qualifications
- Hours - 8:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification desirable but not essential
- Candidates without QTS will be considered if they possess substantial experience teaching within SEN, SEMH, nurture, alternative provision or specialist educational settings
- Minimum 1 year teaching or equivalent educational experience in the UK
- Experience supporting children with SEMH, Autism (ASC), ADHD and challenging behaviour is highly desirable
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (or willingness to complete this through Prospero Teaching)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child-related references covering the last two years
