Job Title: KS3/4 Nurture TeacherLocation: SunderlandStart: ASAP About the RoleYou will lead a Key Stage 3/4 nurture class, delivering a broad, balanced curriculum tailored to individual EHCPs while promoting life skills, emotional regulation, communication, and independence. Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons Create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environmentPromote pupil wellbeing, confidence, and emotional development alongside academic progressUse a range of teaching strategies and assistive technologies to meet individual needsMonitor, assess, and report on pupil progress using school systems MUST have strong classroom management skills. Previous experience of working in an SEMH environment and managing pupil behaviour would be an advantage. Additional requirements: Reference details will be requested prior to registration.
