This is a fantastic opportunity to join as the nursery is expanding and opportunities for progression will be available.Key Responsibilities Nursery teacher Planning and delivering engaging lessons and play-based activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) frameworkPlanning and delivering engaging lessons across the Key Stage 1 curriculum in line with Teachers Standards and QTS expectationsDemonstrating strong understanding of pedagogy, assessment and classroom practice expected of a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) teacherCreating a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes effective learningSupporting pupils in developing strong foundations in phonics, reading, writing and numeracyDelivering high-quality phonics sessions to improve early reading and literacy outcomesUsing formative and summative assessment to monitor progress and inform planningDifferentiating lessons to support pupils of all abilities, including SEND and EAL learnersImplementing effective behaviour management strategies in line with whole-school policyPlanning targeted interventions to accelerate progress and close attainment gapsPreparing pupils for ..... full job details .....
