Nursery Practitioner – Level 2 & Level 3

Location: Torquay, Devon
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £14.25 – £16.00 per hour
Contract: Flexible / Day-to-Day / Short-Term / Long-Term

We are looking for enthusiastic and caring Level 2 and Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioners to join our growing team, with opportunities available for an immediate start.

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years

• Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting

• Ability to drive and reliably commute to nursery settings across Torquay and surrounding areas

• A positive, caring and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children

• Good knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures

• Confidence supporting children across different age groups, from babies to preschool

• Flexibility and adaptability when working in different nursery environments

• Paediatric First Aid qualification (desirable but not essential)

• Supporting children''s learning and development through play-based activities

• Creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment

• Assisting with daily nursery routines, including mealtimes, outdoor play and personal care

• Building positive relationships with children, parents and nursery teams

• Encouraging children''s independence, communication and social development

• Following safeguarding policies and EYFS guidelines
