Nursery Room Leader

We are seeking a

Nursery Room Leader

for the preschool room. Please only apply if you have a minimum Level 3 childcare qualification alongside experience as a practitioner or room leader.

Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and participate in activities that stimulate children''s interests, taking into account the

Develop and celebrate diversity within the nursery environment and the local community.

Work independently on your initiative with support from the Manager and Directors.

Communicate effectively with children, parents, and external agencies, both verbally and in writing.

Supervise and delegate staff appropriately, adhering to legislation requirements.

Maintain routines and respond flexibly to service demands.

Support the smooth running of the nursery, including environment upkeep and safeguarding.

Support and advise team members, ensuring good relations with staff, volunteers, students, and parents.

Ensure a safe, welcoming environment for children and visitors.

Salary and Benefits:Starting from £27,000 per year.

Requirements:

GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

1 year experience in a nursery, childcare, and management (preferred)

Driving Licence (preferred)
