Nursery Room Leader

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Room Leader to join our team in providing exceptional care and early childhood education to children in our nursery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being in a nurturing environment. YOU MUST HOLD A LEVEL 3 QUALIFICATION IN CHILDCARE / EARLY YEARS OR EQUIVILANT FOR THIS ROLE. We are also looking for Level 2 and 3 practitioners for the setting. Salary : £28,000 - £30,500 per annum Hours : 40 hours per week Location : Honor Oak Duties Provide high-quality care for children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. Support and supervise playroom staff with their day to day duties Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote early childhood development. Deploy staff appropriately to ensure that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms Implementation of the nursery key carer procedures and allocate children to key carers appropriately Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn. Ensure the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child''s progress and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive team approach to childcare. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities.
