Nursery Room Leader (Kindergarten Room) - OswestryLocation: OswestrySalary: £14.50 per hourHours: 37 hours per week (paid for 37 hours worked)Start Date: ASAP (notice periods considered)Setting: Nursery SettingThe RoleWe are recruiting for a Nursery Room Leader to lead a Kindergarten Room for children aged 3-5 years. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional who is confident leading a small team and taking responsibility for a group of children''s learning and development.The room currently has 22-24 children, with responsibility for managing a team of 3 staff members (2 permanent staff and 1 lunchtime cover).Key ResponsibilitiesLead the Kindergarten Room and support the day-to-day running of the provision.Deliver high-quality EYFS learning experiences.Plan and prepare activities and learning opportunities in advance.Take sole responsibility for a designated group of children and their educational progress.Complete regular observations, assessments and 6-week reviews.Conduct parent handovers and build positive relationships with families.Support, motivate and supervise room staff.Ensure a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for all children.RequirementsLevel 3 Early Years qualification or above (essential).Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.Previous experience leading a room or supervising staff within an Early Years setting.Confident managing parent relationships and children''s learning journeys.Able to work independently ..... full job details .....
