Work alongside the Nursery Manager to lead and inspire your team while delivering exceptional care and education.Lead and mentor the team to provide high-quality early years education with passion and energy.Support nursery operations and ensure consistent quality.Act as a role model by promoting initiative, creativity, and high standards of care.Build strong relationships with families, colleagues, and external agencies to support the best outcomes for children.Oversee the team9s implementation of the EYFS framework, ensuring engaging learning opportunities.Take charge of nursery operations in the Nursery Manager9s absence.Encourage continuous improvement through feedback and support professional development.Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that meets each child9s needs.What Youll Love About Working With Us

Sunhill Day Nursery Colchester is nestled within the serene grounds of Braiswick Primary School. It is a purpose-built nursery that uses eco-friendly building technology, providing a secure and stimulating environment where children thrive through play and exploration. Our setting has three age-appropriate rooms with access to expansive outdoor areas, including a sensory garden, climbing apparatus, mud kitchen, and a bug hotel known as Buggingham Palace at Colchester nursery. It is located just 5 minutes from the A12 and a 10-minute walk from Colchester North Station, on Apprentice Drive, off Bergholt Road.Requirements and Safeguarding
