Nursery Practitioner

GLL are seeking both Full-time and Part-time Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioners to work within our ''Better'' Community Nursery setting at Burnt Oak Leisure Centre in the Borough of Barnet. As a Qualified Nursery Practitioner, you will contribute to providing a safe, stimulating, educational and fun environment for children. As a Nursery Practitioner you will be promoting the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of children under 5 years old through sensitive individual planning of each child''s changing needs whilst encouraging their development and independence. Our Practitioners have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You''ll work with colleagues and partners to ensure our Children''s Centre services are enjoyed and accessible to our local families with young children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will need experience of working with children under five years of age and their families and a L3 Childcare qualification is required. You will work within the EYFS framework and principles plus safeguarding issues; procedures and an understanding of equality and diversity issues would be essential in this role.
