Nursery Practitioner - Full Time (Term Time Only)

Location: Maintained Nursery School, Nelson
Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Term Time Only
Start Date: Flexible- December 2025

We are currently recruiting for a welcoming and well-established maintained nursery school in Nelson, currently seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join their team on a full-time, term-time-only basis.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will support the learning, development, and care of children aged 2-4 years, working alongside an experienced team to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. You will help children thrive and reach their full potential through engaging and developmentally appropriate activities.

• Support children''s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

• Promote a child-centred approach to teaching and care

• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals

• Observe, record, and assess children''s progress

• A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent)

• A genuine passion for working with young children

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Experience in a nursery or early years setting is desirable

• A supportive and experienced team environment

• A well-resourced and inclusive maintained nursery setting
