Nursery Operative

Contract Personnel is looking for a Nursery Operative We re looking for a motivated and hands-on Nursery Operative to join a busy plant nursery team!This is a varied, practical role involving plant propagation, order preparation, and general nursery maintenance. You ll be working both indoors and outdoors, including in polytunnels.Key duties include:• Propagating plants from seed, cuttings, and division• Harvesting seeds and assisting with coir planting• Picking and packing plant orders for dispatch• Weeding, watering, and general plant care• Monitoring and reporting pests and diseases• Supporting irrigation and nursery upkeep• Operating horticultural machinery safely• Maintaining a clean and safe working environmentWhat we re looking for:• Nursery or horticulture experience is desirable (not essential)• Or a strong interest in horticulture/agriculture• Ability to work in a fast-paced nursery environment• Reliable, practical, and willing to learnHours: 07 00Pay: £13.82 per hourIf you re interested, please get in touch to apply or find out more.Call: (phone number removed)Email: (url ..... full job details .....
