About the Role

Requirements

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
• Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting
• Genuine passion for Early Years education
• Flexible, reliable and proactive approach
• Strong understanding of professional practice and high-quality childcare

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and learning opportunities for all children
• Support children’s day-to-day learning through engaging play activities
• Meet the individual emotional and developmental needs of each child
• Safeguard and promote the health, safety and wellbeing of children
• Plan and create a nurturing, stimulating environment
• Support children’s development socially, emotionally and educationally
• Follow EYFS, safeguarding and child development frameworks
• Observe, assess and track children’s progress
• Build positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues
• Contribute to team meetings and share ideas
• Work collaboratively to maintain high standards across the setting
