Nursery Nurse

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming and nurturing nursery in the Derby area, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Nursery Practitioner on a full-time/ part-time basis with an immediate start. The nursery provides a stimulating and supportive environment where children are encouraged to develop through creative, play-based learning and engaging activities.The successful Nursery Practitioner will hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification (or an equivalent qualification), although candidates with at least 6 months of relevant childcare experience are also encouraged to apply. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will have a good understanding of the Early Years Curriculum, continuous provision, and the Early Learning Goals. You will support children through small group activities, encourage learning through play, assist with personal care when required, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Shifts are between 8:00am and 6:00pm. Driving is not essential but would be beneficial.The successful Nursery Practitioner will have: Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent), or at least 6 months of relevant childcare experience A good understanding of the EYFS Framework and Early Learning Goals Experience supporting children through play-based learning and continuous provision A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach Excellent communication and teamwork skills In return for the above you can expect to receive: A ..... full job details .....
