Job Description
Empowering Learning is currently recruiting for a Nursery Nurse to work in a friendly and supportive nursery setting in Chesterfield. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate early years practitioner who enjoys supporting young children''s development and learning in a nurturing environment.

You will play an important role in supporting children''s early development, helping to create engaging activities, maintaining a safe learning environment, and working closely with the nursery team to support the needs of each child.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting children''s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework

• Assisting with planning and delivering engaging activities

• Promoting a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children

• Supporting children''s social, emotional, and physical development

• Working collaboratively with nursery staff to maintain high standards of care

• Following safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies

Requirements

• Childcare Diploma Level 2 or Level 3 (essential)

• Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting

• Good understanding of the EYFS framework

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children
