Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum + Bonus (competitive package; see below for benefits)

Responsibilities
Lead the nursery in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum with excellent practice
Promote the nursery values to staff, parents and children
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with staff
Maintain accurate records including occupancy to support growth and development
Train and develop all staff to fulfil their potential
Oversee day-to-day nursery operations, including financial management, recruitment, training and staff development
Ensure a high standard of childcare and safeguarding in line with EYFS and Ofsted guidance
Qualifications and experience
Full and relevant childcare qualification, ideally Level 5 (NVQ5, EYTS, QTS, B.Ed. or above)
Extensive experience in a childcare setting
Strong knowledge of child development and EYFS 0-5 years
Experience in a management role, mentoring and leading staff
Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted statutory guidance
Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding
Ability to deliver high-quality learning opportunities and effective nursery operation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with pupils, colleagues, parents and external agencies
Strong planning, organisational and time management skills
Understanding of how a nursery operates and the ability to work well in a team
